What Would Jenny Du?

Per my August posting, Isaiah Zagar added mosaic art to the facade of my house. While Isaiah worked on the second floor of my house, I worked on tiling the alleyway of one of his other studios. Since then, I have wanted to learn to grout. Today, I crashed Isaiah’s workshop and grouted with a group of his students – awesome experience. I’ll have to learn to make doilies and blobs next time Jenny Du would want her basement tiled with mosaic.

I don’t know if a lot needs to be said about this picture. Courtesy of Isaiah Zagar, I own a beautiful work of art. I didn’t know I could love my house anymore than I already did, but having this mosaic done definitely increased the love.
